Preparing for Idiom Presentations

Hi 555L students:
A couple ways to prepare for all of the presentations on Thursday would be to...

1) Research the idioms yourself on the internet. If you do this, please post any helpful websites on the blog for your classmates--do not post any idiom answers though. I would recommend that you take some notes about the idioms from the internet.

2) Create/type a note-taking outline that gives each idiom and then lists the information that each classmate will be presenting with space for you to write in the information.

These ideas will be helpful to you as you listen to all the information on Thursday as well as when you start studying for Quiz #2.

You can do both of these exercises in the ESL computer lab as your lab assignment.
